West Ham United currently have 19 club-owned players away on international duty for this month’s fixtures.
Of the list, ten are in West Ham ’s first-team squad, with seven more in the academy and two are players currently out on loan at other clubs.
Among the academy players representing their countries at present were five whose respective international sides were in action on Wednesday.

Here is a round-up of which players did and did not feature for their countries and how they fared.
Hammers striker Divin Mubama , who scored his first senior goal a week ago against AEK Larnaca, started up front for England’s under-19s on Wednesday night in Walsall. Mubama played 68 minutes in a 1-0 win over Hungary in qualification for this year’s Under-19s European Championships in Malta. Also in the starting side was Chelsea midfielder Lewis Hall and former Hammers striker Sonny Perkins, who joined Leeds United last summer.
Academy forward Callum Marshall was also set to be involved in a qualifying match against France for Northern Ireland’s under-19s, although Marshall was not in the matchday squad.
England’s under-18s played Croatia in the first of three friendly matches which they have in the next week. Academy left-back Ollie Scarles, who has played in the Europa Conference League this season, played for the final 29 minutes in a 2-1 win, with Scarles making his debut at that level.
There were also qualifying matches for this year’s Under-17s European Championships in Hungary. Northern Ireland handed a start to Hammers academy defender Josh Briggs who played the duration of their 2-1 defeat to the Netherlands, whose starting line-up included Shaqueel van Persie, son of former Arsenal and Manchester United striker Robin van Persie.
Goalkeeper Finlay Herrick was also in England’s under-17s squad for their 3-1 qualifying win over Denmark. However, Herrick did not feature in the game.
On Thursday night, four players from West Ham could be involved for their countries. Hammers captain Declan Rice could face teammates Gianluca Scamacca and Emerson when England take on Italy in a 2024 European Championship qualifying match in Naples.
Academy captain and goalkeeper Krisztian Hegyi is also in Hungary’s squad for their friendly at home to Estonia.
