Married At First Sight Australia (MAFS) participant Adrian Araouzou continues to endure a wave of controversy, this time in the form of a resurfaced video shared by JasminEats.
ICYMI, Adrian has been at the centre of almost all of the drama unfolding on the current season of the Aussie reality show, culminating in an explosive recent episode featuring his longtime friend, TikTok chef JasminEats (real name Jasmin Weston).
While Jasmin has since apologised for her behaviour on the episode — which drew fierce public backlash — and revealed she is no longer friends with Adrian, an old video of the pair, believed to be from 2023, is currently doing the rounds on TikTok.
“Driving with your guy [best friend] be like,” Jasmin wrote in the in-video caption, alongside clips of herself in a car with Adrian.
The video then shows snippets of Adrian pointing outside the car with captions like “I f*#ked a b!tch over there” [sic] and “a b!tch with the maddest t*ts lives here” [sic].
The video was reshared by reality TV alum Abbie Chatfield, who said it was evidence that there “were signs” of Adrian’s current treatment of his MAFS partner, Awhina Rutene.
“It wouldn’t be that crazy to think that Awhina might be telling the truth,” Abbie said, before addressing Jasmin directly.
“If you’re friends with a man that is speaking about women this way, there are a few signs [that] maybe they aren’t the best person.”
“Don’t be friends [with] men who speak about women like this,” Abbie added in her caption.
Many TikTok users shared their concerns in the comments, with one writing that Adrian has “too many enablers in his life” and another urging to “stop giving [Adrian] a platform”.
Adrian has consistently come under fire among fans for his treatment of Awhina in the current season of MAFS.
Off the show, both Adrian and Jasmin have been called out on social media, including by a former MAFS producer and Awhina’s twin sister, for their behaviour during the recent family and friends episode.
On Tuesday, Adrian shared a video defending his actions via his brother’s TikTok account, claiming he is “as relevant as it gets right now” and telling viewers to be “be grateful that I’m still here.”
