Gardai on RTE's Crimecall programme have appealed for the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of missing Dublin woman Bernadette Connolly.
The 45-year-old from Swords was last seen on Friday, January 7, after she was dropped by taxi at the Shoreline Hotel car park in Donabate.
CCTV footage shows Bernadette walking towards the entrance of Donabate beach.
Speaking on the programme, garda sergeant Fintan Corcoran said the family are heartbroken as they continue their search for Bernadette.
Bernadette's only daughter Jade has been raising awareness about her mother's disappearance on social media in the hope that people will come forward with information.
Sergeant Corcoran said: "It's a very difficult case, and Jade is Bernadette's only daughter, and they're very distraught, and they're actively looking for any information from members of the public along with gardai to see if we can establish the whereabouts of Bernadette.
He added: "Bernadette went missing on the 07/01/2022, she got a taxi to the Shoreline Hotel just at directly the entrance to Donabate beach, and she got out of the taxi and walked towards the beach there."
There were believed to be numerous people on the beach at the time of Bernadette's disappearance.
Sgt Corcoran said: "It was a Friday and there would have been a lot of people on the beach even though it was a cold and wet day it's a very popular beach, people walking their dogs etc. and we can just see Bernadette gets out at the car park of the Shoreline Hotel and waves the taxi off and makes her way to the entrance of the beach."
He added: "We are just appealing to members of the public to come forward with information.
"If anyone was on the beach that day that may have seen Bernadette. She was wearing a black coat, black leggings, black shoes with a white trim at the bottom.
"And we've actually recovered a black jacket that Bernadette was wearing and a black handbag, so we believe she was wearing a Nike training top black with a white swoosh on the front of it and just appeal to anyone that was there who may have seen Bernadette. It's possible that she was carrying a pink towel as well."
Anyone who may have seen someone fitting Bernadette's description is asked to contact Swords garda station 01 666 4700, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
