Disney Magic cruise ship returns to Portland Harbour

The celebrated Disney Magic cruise ship is back in UK waters. The award-winning cruise liner docked in Portland Port in Dorset earlier today (Monday, September 12).

The ship is intended to combine classic nostalgia and modern amenities with Disney's signature service. This includes film premieres, a 1,000-seat theatre for Broadway-style shows and a late-night adults' deck.

The 11-deck ship is sailing under the Bahamas flag in Dorset. She has capacity for 2,700 passengers.

Inside are 875 state rooms and a staff of around 950 crewing the ship. The 12 different dining options include Lumiere’s, a Beauty-and-the-Beast-themed restaurant, and the Duck-In Diner, one of Donald Duck’s favourite quick-bite spots.

With its maiden voyage in 1998, the ship still garners attention on its travels.
