Dan Benson, former Wizards of Waverly Place Disney star, is now making his living as a pornstar on OnlyFans. Benson has few limits when it comes to his online content, but he does draw the line at only one request.
Benson, 35, who has been very transparent about his career making adult content, shares he has no problem stripping down for his subscribers who are 99 percent gay men.
The ex-Disney star says he has pushed his boundaries in the past, and although he is straight, he is very comfortable making content catering to his target audience. He does however state that he has one boundary.
In an interview with Page Six, Benson said: “I’m not going to have sex with men on camera because everyone wants to see it" he adds: "I don’t want to look back in 10 years and go, ‘OK, I made all this money, I got all this fame because of this, but goddamn it, I was doing all these things that made me feel uncomfortable just for that."
Benson's original claim-to-fame was his character Zeke in the hit Disney television series Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007 to 2012. In the show, Zeke was the best friend of Justin Russio, played by actor David Henrie. Zeke was the "cool but nerdy" best friend that went to Tribeca Prep with Justin where they were in the same advanced chemistry class together. The pals were also in an "alien language" club at their school and would often speak "alien" to each other.
When Benson retired from Disney channel and entered the adult content creation industry, he found people still recognised him from the children's show and even admit that Zeke was their "gay awakening".
In an interview, Benson said: “And I get messages all the time from people that say, ‘Hey, you were actually my gay awakening. ‘And first of all, that’s super flattering for me. That’s incredibly endearing and awesome. And [it] is funny to me because Zeke was, like, the dorky, goofy character on ‘Wizards of Waverly Place.’ So I’m like, it’s shocking to me, but I think that’s cool.”
Benson says that working as an OnlyFans content creator started as an accident. It originally began when someone leaked his nudes online and he saw that they were being sold. After the initial shock, Benson then decided that he was comfortable with the photos being public and that he wanted to post them himself on his own account.
Since then, his OnlyFans career has taken off and he is grateful to be a full-time creator now. The ex-actor explains it is hard work and he treats it like a normal daytime job. He also adds that he is making more money now than at any job he's worked before.
