Police are hunting for a man who spat in the faces of a train driver and staff member at a Leeds railway station last month.
British Transport Police (BTP) have issued CCTV images of a man they believe may be able to help with their investigation into the attack.
On Tuesday, May 10, just after 9pm, BTP said a man got off a train at Cross Gates railway station. He then spat in the face of a staff member at the station before leaving.
The same night, the man came back to the station. He then went into the train driver's cab and spat in the driver's face. The CCTV images released by BTP show a man in a high-vis jacket.
Police believe the man pictured may have information that could help the investigation. BTP are asking anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images or who has any information about the incident to either text them at 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40. Callers should quote reference 466 of May 10, 2022.
Anyone wanting to get in touch anonymously can also call Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
