Discovery Plus offers content from Food Network, HGTV, TLC, Animal Planet, ID, Discovery channels and more; when it launched it offered the largest library of any streaming service and it continues to get new releases all the time.
Discovery Plus is home to over 2,500 shows in total, with 55,000 episodes to sink your teeth into, including exclusives from some of your favorite Discovery personalities, like Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Network.
You can now get access to all of Discovery Plus' catalog on Max (formerly HBO Max) if you live in the US, but you can still sign up to Discovery Plus without Max, if you only care about this informational content.
Here's everything you need to know about Discovery Plus right now, including the different plans, which countries it's available in and the Discovery Plus price.
How much does Discovery Plus cost?
In the US, the Discovery Plus price is broken down into two categories: the ad-lite version which runs at $4.99 per month and the ad-free version at $6.99 per month. If you choose to sign up via Max, it'll cost you $9.99 for ad-lite or $15.99 for ad-free (or $19.99 for the 4K plan but this doesn't affect Discovery Plus videos).
In the UK, it's a little different. There's an Entertainment package for £4.99 or an Entertainment and Sports one (which bundles in coverage of sports like cycling, tennis and snooker) for £6.99 — that's per month, but you can pay £39.99 / £59.99 for a year. You can sign up in the UK here.
If you want to wrap Discovery Plus into an existing subscription, you can get it as an Amazon Prime Video channel which costs exactly the same and includes the same shows. UK- or Ireland-based Sky TV subscribers get Discovery Plus bundled with their plan for no extra cost.
