Police called to quiet residential street after man found dead

A man had been found dead in a property in Clevedon. The ambulance service called police to the quiet residential street of Albert Road just after 1pm last Friday.

The man, believed to be in his 70s was declared dead at the scene. Police have confirmed that his death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesman for Avon & Somerset Police said: “We were called to Albert Road, Clevedon at 1.10pm to reports of a sudden death that is not believed to be suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
