Everton managed to pull off a huge win at home to Chelsea as the Toffees and Leeds United fight for survival. Richarlison’s goal early in the second-half turned out to be the eventual winner, with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford pulling off a string of unbelievable saves to keep Chelsea at bay.
The victory takes Frank Lampard’s side on to 32 points, just two points off Leeds and Burnley with a game in hand. It also means that the fight to stay in the Premier League is now out of the Whites’ hands.
It’s another massive blow for Leeds fans who saw their side put up a spirited performance, but ultimately one that lacked enough quality to take anything, in a 4-0 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday evening.

Following the Toffees' shock win, Leeds fans took to social media to give their take on the result and the wider relegation fight.
@GeorgeD_93 tweeted: “Burnley and Everton doing the business and getting three points. Meanwhile Leeds and Marsch are celebrating a 4-0 loss. A disastrous weekend for Leeds. Disastrous. #lufc”
@NeilDonohoe said: “Every single result since we beat Watford has gone against us. Liquid Leeds it really is. #LUFC ”
@JSLayton1992 just said: “Leeds are going down, aren’t they?”
While @jamesm4986 was more optimistic: “Why are Leeds fans panicking? No reason why we can't beat Chelsea, especially if Everton can. Also the FA cup final for them is three days after so Tuchel will likely rest a lot of players. Keep the faith. MOT #LUFC ”
@EamoV1 said: “Tell you what, I really should have read the small print when I became a Leeds fan."
