Customers were left queuing outside a Dublin Lidl when it had to close temporarily earlier today.
A power outage forced the Cork Street store to close its doors, with Lidl saying that the blackout was an isolated incident.
Disappointed shoppers waited outside the popular shop for the power to resume. A spokeswoman for Lidl told Dublin Live said that the team were working to fix the problem as soon as possible.
She said: "We are aware of an isolated power outage in our Cork Street store. The team are currently working to rectify the situation and the store will be shortly operating as normal. We apologise for the inconvenience to our customers.”
