The stars of the stage show of Dirty Dancing refused to be put in a corner as the city basked in glorious sunshine.
The cast, who will star in the stage version of Dirty Dancing at the Liverpool Empire from June 13, made the most of the sunshine and took in some of the city's most famous sights. Michael O’Reilly, who plays Johnny and Kira Malou, who plays Baby even performed the famous "lift" outside the Walker Art Gallery and on the famous St George’s Hall steps.
The classic 1987 movie was adapted into a stage play in 2004, and has been seen by millions of theatregoers around the world. Fans in Liverpool can catch it at the Lime Street theatre from Tuesday, June 13 to Saturday, June 17.
