Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard recently revealed that members of the intelligence community have been reaching out to her directly to highlight areas that require attention and reform. Gabbard stated that individuals within the intelligence community have been providing her with information, emphasizing the need for her to 'clean house' and address specific issues.
According to Gabbard, these individuals are motivated by a shared commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of the intelligence community and refocusing on its core mission of serving the American people. She has expressed her determination to 'rebuild trust' within the intelligence community, which she believes has become politicized in recent times.

However, concerns have been raised by some career officials regarding President Trump's efforts to streamline the US government rapidly. There is a fear that these actions may inadvertently expose American secrets to foreign spies and hackers, raising questions about national security implications.
On the topic of negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, Gabbard informed that the discussions are still ongoing. She mentioned that President Trump remains committed to his pledge to end the conflict, which he had promised to do on his first day in office. Gabbard highlighted that Trump's approach to these negotiations is guided by considerations of what is in the best interest of the American people, taxpayers, and the pursuit of peace.
