If you were Diontae Johnson, you’d have this reaction too.
The Pittsburgh Steelers receiver known for catching the short stuff — with A LOT of targets — hadn’t scored a touchdown in the regular season since January 3, 2022 (not a typo!), which was during the 2021 season.
Since then, he’s not found paydirt once … until Thursday night, when he caught a late touchdown from Kenny Pickett in the 20-16 win over the Tennessee Titans.
So how did he react? By looking up to the sky, as if to thank the heavens for this streak ending after 669 days of touchdown-less suffering.
I’d be this happy too if I was him:
This is the face of a man who hasn’t caught a TD in so long that his last one came from Ben Roethlisberger…
