Diogo Jota was on the scoresheet for his country yesterday evening as Portugal cruised to a 4-0 win over Czech Republic in the UEFA Nations League.
The Liverpool forward was introduced in the 67th minute of the match as a substitute, with his side three goals to the good, and took only 15 minutes to breach the opposition backline.
Jota headed home from close range to complete an impressive victory for Portugal in Prague, which saw Manchester United duo Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot (2) the other individuals on target during the contest.

After scoring eight minutes from time, Jota placed the match ball underneath his shirt and sucked his right thumb as Manchester City defender Ruben Dias congratulated him on his finish. This celebration was a tribute to his partner, Rute Cardoso, who is currently pregnant with the couple's second child.
Jota took to Instagram to confirm this news earlier today, accompanied by the following message: "Second baby on the way."
Jota featured in his first game of the current season in this month's Merseyside derby but is still waiting for his opening goal at club level after three appearances made during the 2022/23 campaign. The 25-year-old bagged a total of 21 goals in all competitions last term.
