EA Sports have handed Liverpool forward Diogo Jota a huge upgrade on FIFA 22 following his impressive recent form.
Jota scored in the 2-2 draw against Premier League title rivals Manchester City last weekend, continuing his brilliant goalscoring this season, bringing his tally to 21 goals in 43 appearances in all competitions. After the Reds' progressed into the Champions League semi-finals, Jurgen Klopp revealed that the Portugal international suffered a knock in the 3-3 draw against Benfica at Anfield.
The 25-year-old has been crucial to Liverpool's performances this season, scoring vital goals against City, Arsenal and Tottenham. EA Sports have also acknowledged Jota's impressive performances and handed the Portuguese forward a deserved upgrade on FIFA 22 after scoring in his last three successive league appearances.

Liverpool's number 20 has received a major boost across the board in the latest FIFA 22 squad update, with Jota seeing upgrades to his passing, dribbling and shooting attributes. The Portugal international has been given boosts to his Crossing (71-73), Long Passing (71-72), Reactions (85-87), Positioning (87-89), Composure (79-80), Shot Power (84-85), Volleys (78-79), Heading Accuracy (83-84), Finishing (85-86) and Penalties (68-69).
The boosts to Jota's attributes have also led to an increase in his Overall Rating (84-85). Following the boosts, the 25-year-old is now the same rating as teammate Roberto Firmino and now ranks as the fifth-best striker in the division behind Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku and Jamie Vardy.
Jota's potential rating of 89 is also the same as Manchester United's Jadon Sancho and Man City's Rodri. Other Liverpool players affected by the update include Luis Diaz, Thiago Alcantara, Naby Keita, Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones.
