Liverpool have suffered a fresh injury blow after Diogo Jota was stretchered off during the win over Manchester City.
Mohamed Salah scored the only goal of the game as Liverpool picked up their third Premier League win of the season. The goal came 14 minutes from time and followed Phil Foden having an effort ruled out after a VAR review.
But in the closing stages, Jurgen Klopp’s side suffered a fresh injury blow after Jota was stretchered off in stoppage time. The forward went down when attempting to play in Darwin Nunez.

It initially looked like cramp, but replays suggest the Portugal international may have landed awkwardly as he toe poked the ball through. He was replaced by Kostas Tsimikas.
Liverpool are currently without Luis Diaz, Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Arthur Melo and Ibrahima Konate, who all missed the win over Pep Guardiola's side due to injury.
Speaking on Jota’s injury, Chris Sutton remarked: “Liverpool have had plenty of injuries, this is a nightmare. They don't need this, it's not a good sight [Jota going off on a stretcher].”
