Diogo Jota is currently away on international break with Portugal, but the Liverpool star has still found time to grind his way towards the top of a FIFA 23 leaderboard.
EA Sports released the FIFA 23 FUT Web App on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at around 18:45 BST, giving FIFA players their first taste of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. Being a website, the Web App does not allow players to play games of FIFA 23, but players can manage their Ultimate Team squad, buy packs, access the transfer market and more ahead of the game's worldwide release.
The full version of FIFA 23 will release in the UK and worldwide on Friday, September 30, 2022, and despite the Web App being out for less than a day, Liverpool forward Jota currently ranks sixth overall globally in club value. It's well known that Jota is a big fan of playing EA's football video game, with the forward even running his own Esports team, 'Diogo Jota Esports'.

Less than a day after the FIFA 23 Web App was launched, Jota has accumulated a total club value of just over 150 million Coins, FIFA's in-game currency. Club Value is calculated by the total value of players in your club, with the Portugal international ranked sixth in the world.
The 25-year-old is known for being very good at FIFA, beating Trent Alexander-Arnold in the final of the FIFA 20 ePremier League Invitational before he joined Liverpool, and he was even ranked world number one at one point on FIFA 21. Last season, Jota paid homage to his love for video games when he sat on the floor and pretended to play a video game after scoring against Southampton.
Jota only returned to action for the Reds against Everton in early September after missing the entire pre-season through injury. Now, Jota is currently away on international duty with Portugal for their upcoming fixtures against Czech Republic and Spain - the forward must have some spare time on his hands if he's been able to build up his FUT 23 club value that quickly!
FIFA 23 is developed by EA Vancouver and EA Romania and will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One on September 30. Early access for FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition begins on September 27, 2022.
