Erik ten Hag says Manchester United will go into Saturday’s FA Cup clash with Reading with a “strong” squad.
The Reds are utilising all their assets this season as they continue to fight in four competitions - the only Premier League team to still be doing so. They will hope this remains the case at full-time against the Royals.
That said, the team is not injury-free with a number of key players sidelined. Donny van de Beek has been ruled out for the season but there is better news regarding Jadon Sancho, who could feature against the Championship outfit who have won just one of their past five matches.

Several others remain on the injury table, though.
Anthony Martial
Ten Hag confirmed the Frenchman will miss a 19th game of the season through injury in Friday’s press conference. Martial has suffered four separate setbacks this season, which forced United to loan in Wout Weghorst.
The striker has not played since being forced off at half-time against Manchester City on January 14. No timeframe for his return has been given.
Possible return date: N/A
Diogo Dalot
The right-back has been struggling with a muscular issue that has kept him out of the last four games. He sustained a problem in Portugal’s quarter-final loss to Morocco at the World Cup and has only been able to see out a full 90 minutes once since - against Everton in the previous round of the FA Cup.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been in good form amid his absence which has come as a relief to United fans with Dalot’s return date not yet hinted at.
Possible return date: N/A
Luke Shaw
Shaw missed the 3-0 League Cup semi-final first-leg win over Nottingham Forest on Wednesday through illness. Speaking ahead of the match, Ten Hag admitted he did not know whether he would be well enough for Reading.
And on Friday, he confirmed the left-back is still a doubt, meaning Tyrell Malacia could start a second consecutive game.
Possible return date: January 28
