Dinamo Zagreb in 'let it happen again' throwback Celtic jibe ahead of UCL clash

Dinamo Zagreb have taken a light-hearted dig at Celtic ahead of their UEFA Champions League league-phase encounter on Tuesday.

The sides enter tomorrow evening's matchday five fixture in search of a win that'd help secure their place in the competition's play-off stage, with Zagreb currently sitting on seven points and Celtic on eight.

Celtic haven't won away from home in Europe's top tournament for some time, however a post on the Croatian club's official X account (formerly Twitter) account turns back the clock further still – to when the sides met in 2014, when Dinamo ran out 4-3 winners.

The text above points to Marko Pjaca's hat-trick and Marcelo Brozovic's goal, with the message "let it happen again!"

The match in question took place during the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League group stages, at which point Celtic had already qualified.

Celtic's goals that night came from Kris Commons, Stefan Šćepović and an own goal.

Deila's side progressed that season to face Inter Milan in the tournament's last 32 knock-out round, where they drew 3-3 at Parkhead and lost 1-0 in Italy.
