Manchester United favourite Dimitar Berbatov admits he has been impressed with how Erik ten Hag and his team have established a new-found collective spirit this season.
Goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford earned United their ninth straight victory in all competitions as they came from behind to beat Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime. It was an eye-catching result which lit-up Old Trafford and put them in contention to launch an unpredicted Premier League title charge.
As things stand, United are nine points behind table-topping Arsenal after 18 matches. However, those two teams will meet at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon - following the Crystal Palace fixture - in what could prove to be a significant moment as an exciting campaign reaches its midway stage.

Berbatov was in the Premier League Productions studio for the Manchester derby. After the game, he said: "They are a proper team and look like one, that's why I said this win is important, but even more important for how they achieve it because, to be 1-0 down against City, that's a big deal.
"Not many teams can overcome that sort of result. But when you do it, that gives you even more confidence and reason to be happy after the game and to know you are in the right direction building team spirit we saw.
"For me, that's even more important than the result. Of course, Bruno [Fernandes] was hinting at something in the past that maybe someone was looking at more for himself than the team.
"But that's in the past. We're now looking forward."
Berbatov, 41, spent four years at Old Trafford between 2008 and 2012 when he scored 56 goals while providing 27 assists from 149 appearances. He also represented Tottenham and Fulham in the Premier League.
