Dillon Danis calls out KSI for rescheduled fight after FaZe Temperrr KO

Dillon Danis has called for a professionally sanctioned boxing fight against KSI following the YouTuber's win against FaZe Temperrr.

Bellator MMA fighter Danis was scheduled to fight KSI this past weekend at Wembley Arena, but pulled out of the fight on 10 days' notice and was replaced by FaZe Temperrr. KSI knocked out Temperrr in the first round and faced off with 'billionaire boxer' Joe Fournier after the fight, whilst also calling out YouTube rival Jake Paul.

Having said very little since pulling out of the fight, Danis was quick to downplay KSI's latest win as the bout was not professionally sanctioned. "That was an exhibition bout with someone you used to live with in LA, it's even illegal to bet on a non-sanctioned bout that you just did in the USA," Danis wrote to KSI. "When you are ready for a professional fight with a real commission let me know."

KSI is yet to compete in a professional fight since his lone win against Logan Paul in 2019, which took place a year after their white-collar fight that ended in a draw. The Brit made his boxing return after a three-year layoff last August with a farcical 'two fights in one night' event, with both bouts being sanctioned as exhibitions.

Danis was pardoned of his Bellator contractual duties by the promotion's president Scott Coker to face KSI for a huge payday, but pulled out of the fight due to being " underprepared ". The 29-year-old, who is a training partner of UFC legend Conor McGregor, hasn't fought in over three years due to a reoccurring knee injury delaying his return.

KSI has ruled out a rescheduled fight with Danis and insists the Bellator fighter will not be welcome to compete at any Misfits Boxing events in the future. "I think most people just don't care anymore. If he's going to fight he'll fight, if he doesn't, he doesn't. The thing about it is he won't be fighting on Misfits, that's for sure. He won't be going anywhere near Misfits," he told Mirror Fighting .

"I don't know if he'll ever fight in Bellator again, but I don't know if he's in the right state of mind and I think he needs to either see a therapist to work on his demons or just figure his life out. He doesn't seem alright. For me it's all about trying to bring as much awareness to Misfits Boxing as possible and I picked Danis because I thought he'd be the most entertaining, I knew it would definitely get the whole MMA community watching."
