Dillon Brooks is looking forward to facing LeBron James, Lakers in playoffs

After getting past the Minnesota Timberwolves in a slugfest in the play-in tournament, the Los Angeles Lakers are back in the NBA playoffs as the seventh seed in the Western Conference.

They will take on the Memphis Grizzlies, a young and feisty team, in the first round of the postseason starting on Sunday, April 16.

One of Memphis’ feistiest players is forward Dillon Brooks, someone critics have called a dirty player because of several incidents, including a fight with Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe during a game against the Lakers in January.

Brooks said in a somewhat provocative way that he’s looking forward to going up against LeBron James and crew (h/t Lakers Daily).

Brooks, who is 6 feet, 7 inches and 225 pounds, will likely guard James for at least part of the time he is on the court.
