Dillian Whyte was unimpressed with Anthony Joshua's behaviour following his win over Jermaine Franklin on Saturday night.
The former world title contender had a tough night at the office against the undefeated American, ultimately being handed a majority decision much to his rival's annoyance. And there was a brief moment where he and Joshua ran into one another at ringside, with the pair bumping fists and seemingly setting up a bout next year.
Joshua was at Wembley Arena to watch Whyte, who is being viewed by many as his next opponent after suffering back-to-back world title losses against Oleksandr Usyk. But their encounter was a strange one, which upset Whyte who felts his rival was too "tense".
"I just spudded him and spudded me hard," Whyte told Seconds Out after the incident. "I said, 'Relax, bro, why are you so tense it's just a spud, be easy, relax we're not fighting. I just saw him and said 'yo' and he thumped my fist, I said, 'Bro, you're always tense and moving mad, just take it easy, man. You don't need to be so stiff all the time."
But asked if he were keen to make the Joshua rematch happen, which would be a trilogy of sorts after their meeting in the amateurs, the former world title contender was indecisive. He was stopped in the professional bout back in 2015, which was a rematch of their 2009 amateur bout which Whyte won.

"I don't care," Whyte responded when asked if he wanted Joshua next. "The heavyweight division don't bank on anything - I want whatever is next, whatever is next, I will have, bro. But I can't control what he's doing and what Eddie Hearn's doing and what DAZN's doing, I don't know what their plan is and I can't control that. Whatever is next is next. I have no idea [how that fight would play out]."
Joshua was due to sneak in a comeback fight before the end of this year, but appears now to have decided to take some time off after an hectic few years atop the division. There were talks, briefly, that he could be Tyson Fury's opponent for Saturday night, but the deal couldn't be done and his rival is now facing Derek Chisora instead.
Former Olympic gold medalist Joshua is a two-time unified world heavyweight champion, but lost his belts to Usyk last year before losing their rematch in August. Meanwhile, Whyte has fought for world honours just once, coming up short against Tyson Fury at Wembley Stadium back in April.
