Dillian Whyte's training schedule detailed ahead of Tyson Fury fight

Dillian Whyte's training schedule has been revealed to include shadow boxing and heavy bag work ahead of his title challenge with Tyson Fury.

The 'Body Snatcher' is currently preparing in the Algarve for his clash with Fury which will take place on April 23 at Wembley Stadium. He will step in to the ring for the first time since avenging his defeat to Alexander Povetkin last March and will end his wait of over 1,000 days to challenge for world glory.

During a video released alongside Whyte's final break of silence, his training schedule can be seen on a whiteboard as he worked out with his team in the Algarve. Whyte's day began with shadow boxing over three rounds with hand weights, followed by eight rounds of work on technique and technical boxing.

Whyte then proceeds by doing two rounds of heavy bag work followed by two rounds using the double end bag. The 'Body Snatcher' can also be seen working out on a treadmill and rowing machine during the video, in addition to strength and conditioning work with tyres and weights.

The British star has remained silent throughout the build-up to the clash against Fury, and failed to show at a press conference to promote the event earlier this year. However in this video posted on Instagram, Whyte finally broke his silence on the showdown, captioning the video: "I’m ready. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd of April at Wembley Stadium. #LetsGooo."

Whyte has had no role in the promotion so far aside from his lawyer Jeffrey Benz confronting Frank Warren publicly to demand action after remaining unhappy with several of the contractual agreements involved with the clash. Benz also cast doubts on the fight taking place altogether due to the ongoing issues.

However Whyte appears to have dropped the biggest hint yet that he will turn up, after Fury had also moved to break cover last week by firing a KO warning at his upcoming rival. The 'Gypsy King' has been working in training camp with the likes of Joseph Parker and his brother Tommy in recent weeks.

And his fighting sibling believes he is training "like the challenger" to prepare for his looming bout with Whyte. "Tyson is Tyson, he can't wait for this fight," Fury told Queensberry Promotions. "He thrives on big occasions and it can't get any bigger than this so this suits Tyson down to the ground. He's in full-mode, he's the best in the world so for him this is just a run-out, I don't see Whyte causing him any problems whatsoever, but Tyson is training like he's challenging for the world title all over again.

"I've never seen him work this hard. He's so regimented, he's so strict, we're in spartan mode here. I feel very, very, very sorry for Dillian Whyte on the night. We've taken ourselves off social media completely, Tyson does it most times for fights, but for myself as somebody who's very active on social media."
