Dillian Whyte offers John Fury bare-knuckle fight with his dad after row

Dillian Whyte has told Tyson Fury's dad John to put his money where his mouth is and fight his own father.

Fury Sr almost caused a ruckus as his son and Whyte faced off ahead of their heavyweight world title fight on Saturday night. The rivals were respectful throughout their press conference and the subsequent head to head.

But Fury was forced to step in when his dad headed towards Whyte's team on the other side of the stage. Fury was visibly frustrated and later reprimanded his father for attempting to spark a fight.

Whyte was also critical and claimed he was ready to set up a brawl between the dads. "Tyson Fury's dad's an idiot. Even Tyson looked at him and shook his head and walked off like, 'Dad, what are you doing?' I was like, 'Bro, you're 100 years old, you're stepping forward'," he told iFL TV.

"He's happy to go to war on the stage but he's not happy to fight Micky Theo. S***, Micky Theo went to Manchester looking for him, he can fight him. He can fight my dad; John Fury can fight my dad. My dad is up for a free fight with him.

"If John Fury wants, he can have a fight with my dad, and my dad's older than him. He can have a free fight with my dad; not boxing, a bare-knuckle boxing fight with my dad.

"Anytime, anywhere; if he wants it now he can come across, we can set it up and my dad will bash him in and smash him to bits. He's done his talking, now let's see if he mans up and accepts the challenge. I'm fighting his son, he can fight my dad."

Whyte was referring to Fury Sr's beef with Theo which began when the pair traded bizarre insults online before Fury turned up at Manchester Fight Club for a scrap only for Theo to be a no-show. Fury then offered Theo one final chance, but no bout ever materialised.

"If you really want it, get in your car, come and fight me on Sunday morning," Fury said. "Forget all the auditoriums, it's never going to happen, mate. You're making a fool out of your mouth, pal, but listen, I've seen people like you all my life. I'm in shape, I'm ready to fight, cut the s***e, let's just fight."
