Dietitian shares Hara Bhara Pizza recipe (it is rich in calcium, fibre)

We love pizza! But we cut down pizza from our diet due to the fact that it is not always healthy. But what if there is a solution to this?

Recently, dietitian Sai Mahima took to Instagram to share a healthier version of the much adored pizza and named it Hara Bhara Pizza.

For the pizza, the ingredients required are besan, spinach leaves, ginger, spring onion, tomato, paneer and spices like oregano, salt and black pepper.

The first step is to prepare the base of the pizza. For the base you need to prepare a smooth paste of besan, palak and water. The consistency of this base should not be too watery. It should not be too thick either. Mahima has shared the video where you can check the consistency of the batter.

After the batter is prepared add salt and black pepper powder to this.

"Brush ghee on a pan and pour batter in small roundels. Put onions, tomato and paneer on it and let it cook from both sides till golden brown. Take it out on a Platter and Sprinkle oregano on it. Serve hot," she says.

Healthy pizza's nutrients decoded

This green pizza is definitely a healthy one and is a must to try if you are someone who craves pizza.

The best part is it contains plant products of your choice. "Palak: Spinach is low in carbs but high in insoluble fiber. This type of fiber which Improves your digestion. Rich in carotenoids, which your body can turn into vitamin A. Also rich on Iron, helps improve hemoglobin, which brings oxygen to your body’s tissues," explains the dietitian.

It also contains paneer, a source of good fats and calcium.

"This Recipe is full of iron and protein and is a great Recipe for kids as well who are fussy eaters. We eat with our eyes first and this recipe is a perfect example of a diet recipe which is not only Healthy but is very tasty and appealing to the eyes," explains Mahima. "So when someone says you need to eat Restrictive Diets to lose weight; show them this and change their perception," she adds.
