Diego Llorente on Jesse Marsch's 'positivity' and Southampton lessons

Diego Llorente has been full of praise for Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch after helping guide the Whites to safety last season. The Spaniard believes they can do great things under the guidance of the American, after taking over the reins from Marcelo Bielsa last season.

The two coaches have often been compared, but this season will be the first real indication Leeds United fans will get to judge Marsch. They've wasted no time in picking up their first three points of the campaign after a summer of rebuilding.

“I think last Saturday is gone and the past," said Llorente. "We learn a lot of things from last season and one of these things was the bad performance in Southampton.

"This season we are a completely different team and we prepare very well for the game because it’s going to be hard.”
