Didi Hamann launched into an astonishing attack on Cristiano Ronaldo and accused him of lacking dignity in defeat.
The German World Cup finalist was appearing in his role as a pundit on RTE last night as France beat Morocco 2-0 to book their place in a second successive World Cup final.
Afterwards, the heartbroken Moroccan players congratulated their French opponents and clapped their supporters as their unlikely World Cup journey came to an end.

Hamann was blown away by the humility and respect shown by the African team, and believes it is a far cry from the way Cristiano Ronaldo reacted when Morocco dumped Portugal out of the World Cup in the quarter-finals last week.
"I think they, in a way, brought the human side back to this World Cup," Hamann said as he paid tribute to Morocco.
"You talk about these superstars, top earners, top players, and one of the greatest players, who left the scene about a week ago, in Ronaldo.
"He couldn't even congratulate them, after the game.
"Morocco won that game, they did something historic, and he didn't even have the dignity to congratulate them for what they had achieved.
"And now you watch them, and how they shake hands with the French, and the dignity and graciousness they show in defeat. Brilliant."
Morocco famously beat Portugal in the last eight last weekend and ended Ronaldo's hopes of crowning a glittering career with World Cup glory.
After the game, a distraught Ronaldo burst into tears and stormed down the tunnel immediately after the referee blew the final whistle.
At 37 years of age, it seems unlikely that Ronaldo will feature for Portugal when the next tournament is staged in the USA, Canada and Mexico in four years time.
And to make matters worse, the former Manchester United star's arch nemesis Lionel Messi is in position to settle the Ronaldo v Messi debate once and for all when he leads Argentina out in the World Cup final at Lusail Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
