A gripping new documentary about disgraced rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs is reportedly in development, promising to delve deep into the allegations that have rocked the music industry.

The once-celebrated music mogul is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York as he awaits trial on serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, following his arrest in September.

Channel 4 has reportedly partnered with Lion TV to produce the investigative programme, titled Diddy: In Plain Sight.

The documentary is said to offer an in-depth exploration of the accusations and the events leading up to his fall from grace. The highly anticipated show is expected to air later this year.

A source told The Sun: “As the clock ticks towards Diddy’s trial, it gives an opportunity for those yet to have their voices heard in this case to speak up and give their testimony.

“This in-depth programme will dive into all the charges, the highs and lows of Diddy’s success and what went on behind the scenes at his infamous White Parties.

“It will no doubt produce some very shocking revelations.”

In 2023, Channel 4 made an In Plain Sight doc about Russell Brand, which included a number of allegations against the comedian and TV host.

The Standard has reached out to Channel 4 representatives for comment.

The frenzy surrounding Combs continues to intensify, with Netflix announcing their own take on the rapper’s shocking downfall in a new documentary titled Diddy Do It?

The streaming giant joins a growing list of platforms dissecting the rise and fall of the disgraced music mogul. Upcoming projects include HBO’s The Fall of Diddy, Peacock’s The Making of a Bad Boy, and TMZ’s The Downfall of Diddy.

Diddy remains behind bars as he awaits his May 5 trial, following a series of failed bail hearings before three separate judges. Arrested on September 16, 2024, he faces federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty.

If convicted of racketeering, the former hitmaker could face life in prison.

The indictment was issued after investigators raided Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles homes, where prosecutors allege they discovered “1,000 bottles” of baby oil and lubricant purportedly used in what they described as “freak offs.”
