The Arizona Cardinals are in rebuild mode and reports that they will be looking to move wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins have already surfaced. While appearing on “The Q Podcast” with Quincy Avery, Deshaun Watson commented about “being in the same area” as Hopkins this weekend. Could this be a public hint that he wants the Browns to reunite the pair?
There is little doubt that adding Hopkins would make the Browns a better team but the contract remains an issue. Hopkins wants a new deal and with the Browns already committing a large amount of money to the offense adding his salary is likely out of the question. Watson could just be talking about seeing his old teammate but it is another interesting situation to keep an eye on this offseason.
