Did Bengals draft pick Brad Robbins think Zac Taylor was a prank-caller?

The Cincinnati Bengals have shared a ton of draft calls between head coach Zac Taylor and prospects they intend to draft.

It’s always heartwarming to see the candid conversations as prospects get informed they’re being selected. We got one for Myles Murphy. And one for DJ Turner, among others, too.

And then there’s the case of sixth-round punter Brad Robbins.

Robbins got the call from Taylor and in the footage provided by the team, it sure sounds like he thought he was being pranked. The “Oh, Zac Taylor, how’s it going?” response initially and the steady build-up to his explicit reaction sort of gives it away.

It would appear Bengals fans got a funny preview of their new punter’s personality, provided he can overcome Drue Chrisman in a competition for the job this summer.
