Di'Shon Bernard is hoping to leave Manchester United on loan this month after recovering from a long-term injury.
The 22-year-old has already enjoyed two successful loan periods away from the club with Salford and Hull in recent seasons, and is targeting another in the January transfer window.
The Manchester Evening News understand that Bernard's preference is to seal another Championship loan this month, though any appropriate offer will need to give him a guarantee of regular playing time.

Hull expressed an interest in signing the centre-back last summer, but moved on to other targets following his injury setback. The Tigers are not believed to be one of the teams currently in the running to sign him this month.
Bernard made his return from injury last month when he was named in United's training squad for their camp in Spain. The academy graduate played 45 minutes during the second-half of their clash against Cadiz.
He has not made a competitive first-team appearance for United since his debut against Astana in 2019. Bernard trained with the senior squad ahead of their League Cup win over Charlton this week, but did not make the match day squad.
Zidane Iqbal and Charlie McNeill, both 19, could also leave the club on loan this month as they seek competitive playing time for the rest of the season.
Iqbal is keen to leave on loan this month and was an unused substitute for the 11th time this season in the 3-0 win over Charlton.
United are prioritising the addition of a new forward this month, but will allow teenage striker McNeill to leave if an appropriate offer comes in for him.
