There has been talk of Dalvin Cook potentially signing with the Miami Dolphins, but the free agent running back could be leveraging himself in a position to get more money on the table first.
That’s how former Patriots safety Devin McCourty sees it.
Cook to the Dolphins would make a ton of sense. Cook is from South Florida and played football for the Florida State Seminoles. The Florida native would fit with the Dolphins on the field as well by giving them the potent running back they have been missing.
McCourty shared his thoughts on the situation when responding to a post regarding a report that Cook had turned down the Dolphins’ contract offer.
His agent letting teams know….Send the offers over…Open for business!!!! Lol https://t.co/07bGIpGqIs

Cook is coming off a season that saw him record 1,173 rushing yards and eight touchdowns in 2022.
There have been discussions with some fans and media members about Cook potentially teaming up with DeAndre Hopkins to come to New England as a package deal. While that’s a long-shot possibility, it isn’t something that can be completely ruled out yet, either.
One thing is for certain: The Dalvin Cook sweepstakes will remain one of the biggest storylines until a deal eventually gets done.
