Cheeky Ally McCoist couldn't resist a a loaded swipe at Celtic in the wake of their 3-1 Champions League defeat to Leipzig.
The Rangers legend, alongside Chris Sutton, weren't pulling their punches as they chewed over a sobering week of results in Europe for Scottish football. Liverpool were too good for Rangers while Celtic were outgunned away to RB Leipzig. And it McCoist who had both Sutton and host Darrell Currie in stitches when he spotted a chance to wind up the opposition. It came after footage of travelling Hoops punters in euphoria after a disallowed goal were beamed across the globe - seconds before Joe Hart's clanger which put Leipzig ahead for real.
Speaking on Scottish Football Extra, he said: "I thought both travelling supports for the Glasgow clubs were absolutely fantastic, tremendous performance. Particularly the Celtic fans, they've won an award, a FIFA award, that's the best celebration for having a goal disallowed by VAR. I mean that was a fantastic achievement, I'd like to congratulate the Celtic boys for that one."
And the Rangers legend was in devilish mood as he was quick to clamp black at Sutton when the former Parkhead standout gave him a new nickname.
McCoist added: ""Which one of us is Captain Hindsight? Both of us, which one of us is Captain Hindsight? I'll answer that one as assistant Captain Hindsight."
