ScotRail have released a photograph showing the devastating aftermath of a fire at the railway station in Troon.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 1pm on Saturday following reports that smoke was pouring from the busy transport hub.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service tackled the fierce flames - which also destroyed a family-run kiosk - overnight and remain in attendance on Sunday morning.

The image shows the badly damaged roof of the building while an external wall has also collapsed. An overhead power cable has also been affected.
A cordon has been put in place around the charred remains of the building while travellers are being warned to expect disruption.
A statement from ScotRail said: “There will be no services from Glasgow Central to Ayr past Kilwinning until at least Monday, 19 July.
“The fire service was called to the incident in Barassie Street around lunchtime and it took several hours to bring the blaze in the ticket office under control. No-one was injured.
“ScotRail, the Fire Commander and British Transport Police closed the line immediately, and services between Glasgow Central and Ayr were suspended.
“Much of the building on platform one has been destroyed and an overhead power cable damaged. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
“Emergency services are still at the scene and a cordon has been set up around the building.
“We organised replacement bus services from Ayr, Largs, Kilmarnock and Troon stations to transport people who had already completed the outward leg of their journey before the fire broke out, back to Kilwinning station.
“From there they were able to transfer to a shuttle train service to Glasgow Central. Several hundred passengers were affected.
“We're working on an appropriate contingency timetable that will see services terminate at, and start back from, Kilwinning.
"It’s likely there will be two services an hour between Glasgow and the Ayrshire town.
"Glasgow – Largs / Ardrossan services are running.
“If you're planning to travel over the next few days, please keep an eye on the app or Journey Check for the latest service information.”
