The devastated mum and brother of a 22-year-old who died in a high speed car crash have said they were "in tears" during their first Christmas without her.
Paige Rice was killed in a high speed crash in the Queensway Tunnel in the early hours of October 17 last year. Paige, 22, was a passenger in an Audi S3, which was being driven at 98mph by her ex-partner Callum Miller, when it crashed head on into a Mercedes taxi inside the tunnel.
Paige, from Birmingham, died hours later in hospital, while Callum, a 27-year-old labourer from Stockport, was kept on life support before his death the following day. This year will be the second Christmas Clare Rice, Paige's mum, and her brother, Tyler, have celebrated without her.

She told BirminghamLive : "It's harder at the minute with Christmas coming up. We're at the beginning so it's still raw.
"Paige absolutely loved Christmas, she loved everything about it; the winter clothes, taking pictures in this kind of sunlight that we're having now, the food, buying gifts. She was such a thoughtful person.
"She liked all the social events, going out with her friends. She was very sociable, very caring and it's going to be difficult this year.
"Last year Christmas was quite soon after, the first year you're in a numbness and running on hot air. I tried to do everything Paige would want to, but me and Tyler just ended up in tears.
"Now the second Christmas coming up, I'm feeling like the numbness has lifted a little bit and it's sinking in so we're finding it harder."
Clare joined the support group, Road Peace West Midlands, five months after her "caring and sociable" daughter died. Since the tragedy in October 2021, her mum has penned cards for every celebration that "we've missed so far", along with holding balloon and butterfly releases.
