A man in Detroit pleaded guilty but mentally ill to charges related to the random killings of three people on the city's streets. The incident, which took place on a Sunday morning in August 2022, left victims at a bus stop and in the doorway of a church. The defendant, now 21 years old, entered a plea of guilty but mentally ill to second-degree murder, attempted murder, and other charges.
