The latest episode of the Detroit Lions Podcast is now available to watch or stream. Recorded live on YouTube on Wednesday night, this show is one we didn’t foresee talking about just yet. The end of the Lions magical season came a few weeks too early.
We broke down the loss to the Commanders and put a bow on the on-field errors and bad night for too many key players and the collective coaching staff. From poor preparation to shoddy execution and even another key injury, it just wasn’t the Lions’ night against Washington.
On the coaching front, the Lions have two coordinators to replace. Offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is the new head coach of the Bears, while Aaron Glenn heads to the Jets. We discuss the merits and potential of each, and then get into ideas to replace both Glenn and Johnson. Defensive line coach Terrell Williams also departed and will need to be replaced. There are some internal candidates for promotions, though all those gigs might very well wind up going to someone outside the den.
The audio-only version of the show is available from your favorite podcast provider.
