Detectives scoured land in Toxteth in search of weapons and drugs after a schoolgirl was shot at a bus stop.
Upper Warwick Street was sealed off by police after the shooting at around 5.10pm on Tuesday, March 1.
The 15-year-old girl was taken to hospital in a critical condition after being shot in the upper body.

Police have since confirmed the girl is in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital and it is a "miracle" that she survived.
Three men have now been arrested in connection with the incident as the investigation continues.
A plot of land between Thackeray Street and Carter Street, just a short distance away from the shooting scene, was also sealed off by police after the shooting on Tuesday.
Merseyside Police today confirmed to the ECHO that an open land search was carried out in the area in relation to the investigation into the shooting. Officers have also been searching land in the Merlin Street area nearby.
A police spokesperson tweeted on Thursday: "As part of our investigation into the recent shooting which took place in #Toxteth, officers have been conducting open land searches in the Merlin Street area. We do this because we know criminals often use these areas to stash weapons and drugs."
A 27-year-old man from Toxteth, was arrested last night, Wednesday, March 2, on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm without a certificate.
A 21-year-old man from Toxteth was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life on Tuesday evening.
A 60-year-old man from Toxteth who had earlier been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has now been released under investigation.
At a press conference Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen said multiple shots were fired by one or more people.
The shots are believed to have been fired by people who were riding bikes at the time of the incident.
Police are looking for people on 'up to four bikes' that were dressed in dark clothing, and wearing face masks or face coverings, like a balaclava.
Mr Kameen added: "Once the shooting had taken place, we believe that the bikes made off towards the North Hill Street and Princes Road area of the city, which is very close to where the attack took place."
A short time after the shooting, a 21-year-old man turned up at hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand. His injuries are not life threatening.
Police are keeping an 'open mind' but believe that these two shooting incidents are linked.
Police are continuing to urge anyone who has information, witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage to come forward as their information could greatly assist the investigation.
