Detectives launch appeal after thug with Rambo knife goes on Shepherd’s Bush vandalism spree

Detectives investigating a series of incidents of vandalism and arson, including a car fire in west London, have released an image of a man they want to identify.

The crimes took place in the Shepherd’s Bush area and the thug is believed to have been carrying a large Rambo knife which he used to vandalise a door in Du Cane Road where the incidents took place.

The criminal damage, which took place in May and September, also included slashing car tyres.

PC Manojh Sivagnanasangar, who is leading the investigation, said: “We would like to speak to this man in connection with a series of criminal activities in Du Cane Road, W12.

“Whilst nobody has been physically injured in these attacks, the victims have understandably been left very shaken as they have been targeted in their homes.

“We believe this man may be known within the community and we are keen to hear from anyone who can help to identify him.

“If you know this man or can provide any information that will help the investigation, I urge you to contact police on 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CRIS 6025129/23.

“Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity, Crimestoppers, and provide information anonymously on 0800 555 111 or crimestoppers-uk.org.”
