Police in Glasgow have launched an appeal for information following a serious city centre assault.
A 62-year-old man was jumped on Renfield Street, near to KFC, at around 3.30am on Sunday, October 9 and officers are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
The injured man was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was treated for a facial injury. His current condition is not known.

Detective Constable John Fagan, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are at an early stage and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to get in touch.
“Anyone with information that may assist our investigation should contact 101, quoting incident number 0631 of 9 October, 2022. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
