Detectives have been granted more time to question a murder suspect after a man was found dead in a house in Rochdale.
The 37-year-old man was arrested after emergency services were called to a 'disturbance' on Industry Road in the early hours of Monday morning (October 3). Police tragically found a man's body inside a home.
The suspect will now be quizzed for 36 more hours after detectives were granted an extension, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said. Officers said they are 'not looking for any other suspects' in relation to the incident.

The deceased man is yet to be formally identified, though this is expected to be done later today. A post-mortem has found that he died 'as a result of multiple injuries', police added.
A cordon remains in place on Industry Street as investigations continue. On Norton Road and Gale Street, where police were previously carrying out investigations, the police cordons have been removed.
Anyone with information is being urged to come forward. You can contact Greater Manchester Police via gmp.police.uk, 101 or anonymously via the independent charity, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
