Details of Nottingham Craft Beer Festival 2022 announced as organisers plan for normal return

Details have been announced for Nottingham Craft Beer Festival 2022 with organisers planning for a return to normal after running a scaled down event last year. The festival will take place on Friday June 17 and Saturday June 18 and will have more than 200 beers available.

The festival marks the end of Nottingham Craft Beer Week 2022 and will take place at Sneinton Market Avenues. A licensing application submitted by organisers has now been approved.

It will be the fourth year the festival has taken place, and more than 3,500 people are expected to attend, according to organisers. A scaled down version was run in 2021, and it was completely cancelled due to the Covid pandemic in 2020. This year's festival will also have street food, live music and tasting sessions.

Al Gilby, co-organiser of the festival, said: "After the success of previous years, we're proud to bring this event back to the Sneinton Market Avenues. We managed to put on a great, if slightly scaled down, festival last year despite the pandemic. This year we're hopeful we’ll be back fully and able to welcome more people in.

"One of the special things about our festival is that all the drinks stalls are staffed by people who work at the breweries. So if you go up to a stall and buy a beer; you can ask them directly about the drink, its ingredients and the process that went into making it."

There will be a number of Nottinghamshire-based breweries serving their tipples, as well as breweries from across the UK. Tickets cost £12 per session and the price includes a programme and souvenir festival glass.

The event is split into three sessions; Friday night (5.30-10.30pm), Saturday day (12-5pm) and Saturday night (6-10.30pm). It will be cashless.
