Former Sydney radio host Alan Jones allegedly committed 11 offences against one man between 2008 and 2009, including touching his inner thigh, rubbing his penis and kissing him on the mouth, according to police charge sheets.

The details of the 26 criminal charges allegedly committed by Jones against nine victims were revealed in a 26-page document made available to media.

The case of R v Alan Bedford Jones involves multiple offences allegedly committed between 2001 and 2019 in several different locations across New South Wales including Newtown, Sydney city, Fitzroy Falls and Alexandria.

Jones will appear before a magistrate at Sydney’s Downing Centre local court in Sydney on 18 December.

The former 2GB broadcaster was arrested at his luxury unit in Sydney’s Circular Quay by New South Wales police on 18 November after a “long, thorough, protracted” investigation.

He was released on bail and his lawyer, Chris Murphy, said outside the police station last month that Jones denied any misconduct and would assert his innocence in court.

According to the charge sheets, the man who allegedly had 11 offences committed against him, known as Complainant C, was an employee of Jones, adding an element of aggravation because he was under the authority of Jones.

In total, Jones is facing 11 counts of aggravated indecent assault, 11 counts of assault with act of indecency, two counts of sexually touching another person without consent and two counts of common assault.

The ages of the victims are not disclosed in the charge sheets but police have said previously the youngest was 17 at the time of the offence.

Police allege Jones kissed another man “using his tongue” at Fitzroy Falls in 2017, resulting in a charge of assault with an act of indecency.

In 2001, the broadcaster is alleged to have touched and fondled the penis of another man and on a separate occasion “kissed him on the lips”.

Police allege in another case Jones stroked a man’s right thigh, touched his bottom and “touched his penis pulling his scrotum”.

In 2012 he is alleged to have “touched and squeezed” the bottom of a man.

Historical allegations of indecent assault against Jones were raised in December last year by the Sydney Morning Herald’s investigative reporter Kate McClymont.

In response Jones denied all wrongdoing and said he was planning legal action against Nine newspapers for the “demonstrably false” allegations.

Jones stepped away from daily broadcasting in May 2020 when the then 79-year-old announced his retirement after dominating breakfast radio in Sydney for 35 years.

Then on a $4m salary, Jones had recorded an unequalled 226 survey wins, but a series of on-air scandals had led to the radio station losing advertisers and haemorrhaging revenue.

In early 2023 he launched a rightwing online media network, ADH TV, but he has not appeared since the allegations were published by the Herald in December last year.
