Tottenham have already welcomed six new players to N17 this summer, but they may not be done yet. Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison, Clement Lenglet and Djed Spence all followed Ivan Perisic in signing deals for Spurs.
All six have already made their first appearance in a Tottenham shirt, with Antonio Conte handing them their debuts during pre-season. The summer was also a success for the Lilywhites during their pre-season matches, where they won two, drew one and lost one.
Now preparations have begun, as Spurs get ready to welcome Southampton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday. However behind the scenes, there are still players being linked with a move to the north London club.

Destiny Udogie is a name that has cropped up for the Lilywhites in the past. The 19-year-old is currently playing at Udinese, making 35 Serie A appearances last season, with eight goal contributions.
The Italian's main position is as a left midfielder, but Udogie also featured at left-back and in central midfield during the 2021/22 campaign. Conte has already brought Ivan Perisic to play on the left flank, adding to the options he already has in Ryan Sessegnon and Sergio Reguilon.
The latter looks set to move on this summer, with the Spaniard being left out of pre-season. During his time at Inter Milan, Conte transformed Perisic from a winger into a wing-back.
If Udogie was to make the move to the capital, the Spurs boss could opt to do the same. However, he may also see him adapting and playing in a different role, which the 53-year-old has managed to do with many players throughout his managerial career so far.
Various reports are now suggesting that Udogie's move to Tottenham is perhaps further along than many thought. Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed Spurs are pressing to sign the youngster, a player who has been a target of West Ham this summer.
According to Calciomercato, via Sports Mole, Spurs have reached a verbal agreement with the Italian side, in a deal which would cost the north London club around £20.9million including add-ons. Fabrizio Romano also reported on Wednesday evening that talks had started, but negotiations were only at an early stage.
Some reports have suggested it could be a deal that is secured before loaning Udogie back to Udinese for a season, similar to the deal that saw Pape Matar Sarr arrive in North London. This could be a beneficial option for all parties, due to the comments the Italian made last month.
"My goal is to play with the Italian national team. The coach [Roberto Mancini] is watching me," he admitted in an interview with Mondo Udinese, via HITC.
"I’m fine at Udinese. I want to grow and improve here. In the future, I could go to the Premier League. I’d be glad to have an experience in England."
Therefore, a move to Tottenham but being loaned back to his current side would allow Udogie to develop, before properly moving to England. The youngster clearly has talent, being labelled "extraordinary" by former Udinese boss Gabriele Cioffi, and is hungry to become a better player.
Udogie made the move to Serie A and quickly became a regular for Udinese. Making the move to the Premier League and Tottenham would give the Italian the chance to work with a world-class manager, with top facilities and there would be a hope that he could also quickly adapt to the top flight of English football.
Udogie is clearly a versatile player with quality, who could be a good addition to Conte's side. Only time will tell if a deal is completed in the next three weeks, ahead of transfer deadline day.
