Well, it’s finally happening — Destiny 2 and Fortnite are having an official crossover. Everyone knew this would come to fruition eventually.
During Tuesday’s annual Destiny 2 showcase, Bungie announced the collaboration with Epic Games. Not only is Destiny 2 coming to The Epic Games Store (including a free Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack), but there’ll be cross-promotional events with Fortnite and Fall Guys too.
All three titles are receiving various cosmetics and items celebrating the event. Destiny 2 gets three Fortnite-themed Skins, while Fortnite has pickaxes, back bling, gliders, and a creative map based on Destiny 2‘s Javelin-4. Meanwhile, Fall Guys will have skins based on Destiny 2‘s Hunter, Titan, and Warlock classes. Unfortunately, there will be no Fall Guys cosmetics for Destiny 2. Complete details are available on the official websites for Destiny 2 and Fortnite, respectively.
Check out the Destiny 2 x Fortnite trailer below. It’s a cute little nod to those infamous loot caves from the original Destiny.
