Jogger, 20, is found alive after going missing on daily run and sparking huge search

A jogger who sparked a massive police hunt after going missing on her daily run has been found, it is reported.

Chloe, 20, disappeared after leaving her home in Dammartin-en-Goële, France, between 5.45am and 6.30am yesterday.

She was due to start work at a nursing home for 2pm, but never turned up.

Dozens of officers, tracking dogs and a helicopter were deployed in the search for Chloe, who was found alive at midday on Saturday at a campsite in the Marne.

The reason for her disappearance remains unclear, although it is believed to be voluntary, reports Le Parisien.

Jean-Baptiste Bladier, prosecutor of the Republic of Meaux, said she was found "in the company of a friend".

Authorities were alerted to her disappearance after her worried mum posted a message to Facebook last night.

She wrote: "My daughter Chloé has been missing since this morning during her daily jog.

"She had nothing on her, just her running gear. Usually she has her phone but she lent it to a family member.

"If you saw her, saw her or have any clues… She was supposed to go on vacation with us, she had important appointments today. No reason to leave. Thank you for your support."

Speaking yesterday, Squadron leader Séverine Hammel said "very significant resources" were deployed on the ground, adding: "We immediately took this disappearance, which was described as worrying, seriously."
