Scots woman missing after vanishing from house found safe and well

A Scots woman who was reported missing has been found safe and well.

Ruth Watt, aged 51, had last been seen leaving an address at Mackie Avenue in the Tarves area of Ellon, Aberdeenshire.

She had been spotted there at around 9.30am on Tuesday, May 31.

Ruth had been described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of a slim build with shoulder length, light brown hair.

The 51-year-old also has a cross bracelet tattooed on her left wrist.

She had been wearing a black puffy jacket and black and white chequered trousers at the time of her disappearance.

Ruth has links throughout Ellon and the wider Aberdeenshire area.

She was believed to have been driving a blue Suzuki Ignis car registration SV22 WSL.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Thank you very much for sharing our appeal on Ruth Watt (51), who was missing from Tarves.

"Ruth has been traced safe and well. Thank you again."
