Desperate appeal launched for Scot missing three days as concerns grow

Concerns are growing for a missing man who hasn't been seen since the weekend.

Stephen Mitchell, 57, disappeared from Kilmarnock town centre at around 9.45am on Saturday, October 22.

Officers are concerned for his welfare and have launched a desperate appeal for information.

Stephen is described as being around 5ft9in tall, with black hair, which is almost bald.

When last seen he was wearing a black jacket, grey T-shirt, black and white striped jogging bottoms and black trainers.

Sergeant Roslin Watson said: “As time goes on, we are growing increasingly concerned for Stephen. If anybody has seen Stephen or has any information or knowledge as to his whereabouts, then please contact us.

“Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2992 of October 22.”
