DeSantis, Trump fundraisers scheduled for Lexington this month

Former President Donald Trump will be in Lexington September 22^nd for a fundraiser for his 2024 campaign, according to Fayette County Republican Chair Fran Anderson. Trump’s leading in the polls, but he’ll be beaten to the Bluegrass by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who’ll be the guest of honor at a September 12^th event. Anderson said he doesn’t know where either fundraiser will be held, but said attending the Trump event will require a contribution of at least 33-hundred dollars. In 2016 and 2020, Trump won Kentucky handily.
